Good news from the FHA. The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is allowing certain borrowers who went through bankruptcy, foreclosure, deed-in-lieu, or short sale to reenter the market in as little as 12 months. Normally those who had foreclosures must wait 3 years to get a chance for a FHA loan. Certain guidelines must be met to qualify. I can refer you to a mortgage professional to explain further.
